Fun Books for Small Children – “Boga Bear” books are a Delight!

If you are looking for fun books to read to your toddlers and younger grade school children then “Boga Bear – Staying Cool” and “Boga Bear – Beat The Heat” by Philip N. Silver are the books to get your hands on. These are two delightful children’s books with great color illustrations by Don Ratkowski.

The main characters in his books of this delightful series are Boga Bear, a squirrel named Skola and a bunny called Bunko. The stories are simple trouble free adventures for small children. These are wonderful books to read for bedtime or when you want your children to relax and sit back.

There is a certain moral flow to the simple stories. I find that the author uses the stories to show and teach young children about respect, courtesy and friendship without being obvious. The animals take on human characteristics and deliver a nice soft message to young hearts. There are no sermons or lectures masquerading as a children’s tale.

“Boga Bear – Staying Cool” is an award winning book, having received national recognition from The American Authors Association. It is destined to become an instant children’s classic. This book series gets the MWSA’s Top Children’s Book Rating of Five Teddybears.

This book series receives the MWSA President’s personal endorsement.
