Great historical reference for an American institution!,

Retired Navy CAPT and Naval Academy graduate Randy Bannister does a huge service to his alma mater with the publication of his book THE U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY IN POSTCARDS, 1900-1930. In it, Bannister not only provides an outstanding pictorial history of the US Naval Academy, but also supplements the pictures with well-researched and easy-to-read text that develops the interesting history of one of the country's premier educational institutions. Though a Naval Academy graduate myself, I learned something about my school in every chapter, and even those not associated directly with the Academy will appreciate Bannister's attention to detail. Methodically researched and exceptionally presented, this book will be appreciated and enjoyed by Academy grads and their families, as well as Annapolis residents.
